ABOUT


Zak Gorsuch is a new media artist and filmmaker. In his video and installation works, electronic images and found objects interact with each other to question their own materiality, as well as the philosophical relationships between technology, surveillance, and presence. He received his BFA in Filmmaking from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2024 and works in Kansas City, Missouri.

Zak has worked as a director, editor, production designer, and art director for music videos, short films, and feature films produced in Kansas City.  He has worked for Grammy-nominated artists such as Perfume Genius, Mitski, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Yves Tumor, Gossip, and more.
